Intermediate  (level 3)

Posture, isolation, and strengthening drills continue. Students learn more advanced technique and combinations, including level changes and layering. Complex rhythms and odd meters are introduced, as well as some choreography.

Before joining the Intermediate class, students should be extrememly familiar with all the basic steps as taught in Levels 1 and 2, and have a solid understanding of the basic Middle Eastern rhythms taught in those levels. This is an intense hour and half long class, so you should also make sure you have a lot of stamina before attempting this class. If you are wondering if you are ready, feel free to ask your instructor. On average, students have been taking classes for around a year before joining this class.
