Advanced
This
is an intensive technique class for students who have mastered Intermediate
technique. Before entering this class, students should have developed
a high level of physical stamina and be proficient with all basic bellydance
tecnhique including all isolations, 3/4 shimmies, undulations, and basic
layering. Students in advanced are expected to practice at home. The class
includes yoga and core conditioning, isolation drills while balancing
(preferrably sword), zil practice, and work with odd and even metered
rhythms.
