Basics (Level 2)
This class continues to drill basic technique in order to prepare the student for the Intermediate class. New technique and combos are introduced. Students need to have completed at least one full session of Intro before taking this class. Please keep in mind that most students with little or no movement background need to stay in the Intro class for 2 or 3 sessions (an average of six months) in order to develop a really strong foundaiton. Practice is always encouraged and recommended. Before enrolling in the Basics class you should know the names of steps, understand the rhythms taught in the Intro class, be able to isolate movement in different parts of the body.
